TERM 1 English/Literacy.
This term we made a know me document on I photo. We had to get photos of our self and things we like and put them in a digital book.Unfortunately I had difficulties with mine so I have nothing to show you.

Some writing we had to do was about a very special person of ourselves, and I chose to write my story about my granddad.

Exercise 78: Level B
Proofreading
Underline all words in the following passage that contain a long ‘u’ sound.
Write the words out in lists according to their spelling patterns.
I couldn’t have had a worse start to my day if I’d tried. First of all, my car refused to go. I didn’t want to be late because I had an interview for a new job at 10 a.m. but I had to go in to my office to do a few things first. I finally got the engine to start and backed down the drive. Before I’d even reached Park Avenue, I knew something else was wrong. My back tyre was flat. I couldn’t believe it. I was in my best suit and didn’t want to ruin it so I rang the AA rescue van. They were busy and it took them half an hour to arrive. The mechanic was very polite and tried not to look amused as I described my morning to him. He put on my spare tyre, wished me luck for the job and went off to his next customer. Luckily, nothing else went wrong. I wasn’t late for my interview and it went really well. I start the new job next month.
